REFERENDUM ORDERED BY PETITION OF THE PEOPLE OF THE TOWN OF CAVE CREEK

OFFICIAL TITLE: RESOLUTION NO. R2009-09 A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF CAVE CREEK FINDING CERTAIN FACTS AND ADOPTING THE PROPOSED MAJOR GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT OF THE ADOPTED GENERAL PLAN OF THE TOWN OF CAVE CREEK 

DESCRIPTIVE TITLE: Resolution No. R2009-09 would revise the Land Use Map of the Town of Cave Creek General Plan and would change the land use designation from Desert Rural to Mixed Use on three (3) parcels located south of the southeast corner of Cave Creek Road and Carefree Highway. 

A “YES” vote shall have the effect of affirming the Town Council vote and shall approve Resolution No. R2009-09 and shall adopt the proposed Major General Plan Amendment. 

A “NO” vote shall have the effect of not approving Resolution No. R2009-09 for the Town of Cave Creek and shall not adopt the proposed Major General Plan Amendment.

REFERENDUM ORDERED BY PETITION OF THE PEOPLE OF THE TOWN OF CAVE CREEK

OFFICIAL TITLE: ORDINANCE NO. O2009-09 AN ORDINANCE OF THE MAYOR AND TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF CAVE CREEK AMENDING THE OFFICIAL TOWN OF CAVE CREEK ZONING MAP BY REZONING PARCELS 211-46-025D, 211-46-004B AND 211-46-004A, FROM DESERT RURAL (DR-43) TO GENERAL COMMERCIAL (GC) 

DESCRIPTIVE TITLE: Ordinance No. O2009-09 would amend the zoning map to reflect that three (3) parcels located south of the southeast corner of Cave Creek Road and Carefree Highway and having Maricopa County Assessor’s parcel numbers 211-46-025D, 211-46-004B and 211-46-004A be hereafter rezoned from Desert Rural (DR-43) to General Commercial (GC).  

A “YES” vote shall have the effect of affirming the Town Council vote and shall approve Ordinance No. O2009-09 and shall amend the zoning map of the Town of Cave Creek. 

A “NO” vote shall have the effect of not approving Ordinance No. O2009-09 and shall not amend the zoning map of the Town of Cave Creek.
